How Sudan’s Gold Is Reported to Fund the Sudanese Military and Russia’s War in Ukraine

Mail Talks (Daily Mail)

A report by Mail Talks (Daily Mail) says gold from Sudan is helping fund the Sudanese military and Russia’s war in Ukraine: around 70 tonnes produced in 2025, of which only about 14 were officially recorded. The Coalition has not independently verified the findings, and calls for transparency on Sudan’s gold revenues and an independent investigation into the trade. Video: Mail Talks (Daily Mail).

ICHRO Calls for an Independent Investigation into the Reported Recruitment of Sudanese Fighters into the War in Ukraine

International Coalition of Human Rights Organizations (ICHRO)

A video received by the International Coalition of Human Rights Organizations (ICHRO) appears to show a man identified as a soldier of the Sudanese Armed Forces fighting alongside Russian military forces in Ukraine. The Coalition has not independently verified the identity of the person shown, his unit, or the date and place of filming, and calls for an independent investigation into the reported recruitment of Sudanese fighters into the war in Ukraine. Andy Vermaut Calls for Justice for the Sudanese Miners Killed in North Wadi

Andy Vermaut speaks on the airstrike of 10 October 2026 that killed Sudanese miners in the North Wadi region, which the Coalition attributes to the Egyptian army. He calls on human rights organisations, African organisations in particular, to sign the Coalition’s joint petition for truth, justice and accountability for the civilian victims and their families.
